Choose the Correct Records Office
The right contact depends on which agency created the record. HCSO handles county booking and release records, while the Clerk maintains court filings and dispositions. FDC controls state prison and state supervision records. Federal and immigration matters use their own locators. Use these official routes:

Direct a county jail booking or release-record request to Central Records. The detention facility itself is at 338 South Orange Street, Sebring, FL 33870, with jail telephone 863-402-7201. Do not use the jail entrance as the records-counter address. HCSO also warns that it does not hold reports made by Sebring, Avon Park, Lake Placid, Florida Highway Patrol, or another arresting agency. Request those reports from the agency that created them.
Highlands County Clerk
Use the Highlands County Clerk court-records gateway for criminal case filings, bond and release orders, dispositions, sentencing, probation orders, and later docket events. Search by case number when known and try reasonable name spellings otherwise. The online display is not the official court record. Contact the Clerk through its current official site for counter details, certified copies, image-access rules, and current fees. The Clerk does not hold HCSO’s physical exit log.
Florida Corrections and Review
Florida Department of Corrections headquarters: 501 South Calhoun Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399-2500. Use the official FDC offender-search and public-records routes for prison release, discharge, supervision history, or an FDC photograph. Identify the person by DC number where possible.
The Florida Commission on Offender Review handles parole and specified post-prison release decisions. Its headquarters and voting-location material commonly uses 4070 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, but meetings may occur elsewhere or by teleconference. Check the particular live agenda. For an individual FCOR decision or order, use the Commission’s official public-records process.
Highlands Supervision Offices
FDC Office 104, Sebring: 434 N. Fernleaf Avenue, Sebring, FL 33870-3720; 863-386-6018. This office handles state felony, community-control, and applicable post-prison supervision in Circuit 10.
Highlands County Office of County Probation: 47 Wilhite Street, Avon Park, FL 33825; mailing address P.O. Box 97, Avon Park, FL 33826; 863-402-7100. Posted hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with closure from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. This county office handles court-ordered misdemeanor probation. Choose the office from the sentence or supervision order, not merely from the word “probation.”
